API to check the status of the official Ragnarok Online 2 servers.

API

iRO2-Status-API features a simple and open json api to add the Ragnarok Online 2 server status into your own projects! Some basic knowledge of json and scripting is all you need to get started.

Last hours of ancient sunlight review. To start using the API, do a POST request and parse the json string. The output should look like this:

Each server has its own object containing:

KeyTypeValue
Statusstring'online' or 'offline'.
Namestringname of the server.
AddressstringIP/DNS address of the server.
Sourcestring'Redis' cache or new 'Socket'.
Timestringtime of the last socket status.
Portintegerport of the server.
Logbooleanif a status change is logged.

Install

  1. This actualy has less to do with the server and more to do with the steam laucher. Either get rid of the steam version and download it from the main Warpportal site, or go into the ragnarok online 2 folder(C:>programs(x86)>steam>steam apps>common>ragnarok online 2), right click the RO2client launcher, and run as admin.
  2. Ragnarok Online is a fast-paced, community driven fantasy MMORPG. Dozens of classes, hundreds of weapons and armors, tons of different skill load outs to customize your character to your play-style and truly you are in control of your game destiny.

You will need your own server running the iRO2-Status-API source code, freely available under the BSD 3-clause license.

Configure the api by editing the settings.py file. Enable debug for development and make sure to disable it for production!

For deployment, you will need a service to run iro2-status-api.py at boot, a redis server for caching, and an HTTP server to proxy static files.
